An osteopath specializes in using techniques such as joint articulation and manipulation, soft tissue techniques, and stretching. The treatment also considers various aspects such as blood circulation, the nervous system, muscles, internal organs, as well as the mental being and life situation of a person. The aim is to promote and maintain health and improve functionality. Individuals are treated holistically, where everything affects everything. Clients of all ages can seek treatment.

The most common complaints treated by an osteopath include headaches, dizziness, jaw problems, neck and shoulder issues, chest and thoracic spine pain conditions, respiratory symptoms and asthma, lower back pain, upper and lower limb pain conditions, sports injuries and pain conditions in active movers, postural problems, and the pain they cause. Osteopaths also treat pregnant women and help the body recover after childbirth. Guidance is also provided for issues related to separated abdominal muscles.
